Has anyone else been puzzling over Cynthia Wilkins' car being left behind that night? I find it strange that her car was parked outside her apartment if she actually left on her own. Usually, if you're leaving town suddenly, you’d at least think to take your car, right? Especially considering that the weather in Illinois can be unpredictable in March. Is it possible someone else was involved who had a way to transport her to the Mississippi River? Or could it be that she left in such a hurry that taking the car wasn't an option for some reason? Between the fire and her missing without a trace, this detail really sticks out to me. If you have any thoughts, I'd love to hear them!

Has anyone looked into Cynthia's connections or any potentially missed angles? I find it odd that the search dogs picked up her scent leading to the Mississippi River and yet, no further evidence turned up. Could there have been any reports of sightings or unusual activity around the bridge at that time? It seems unlikely someone just vanishes without a trace. And with her being a substitute teacher working on a degree, was there any indication she was planning a change or involved with someone who hasn't been thoroughly investigated? It's been so long, but maybe someone out there knows something that was overlooked. Would love to hear thoughts from anyone familiar with the area or similar cases.

Has anyone looked into the timeline of Cynthia Wilkins' movements on the day she disappeared? I find it odd that there's a clear scent trail leading to the Mississippi River, yet no evidence showing she left beyond that point. Makes me wonder if she was meeting someone or if someone took advantage of the chaos caused by the fire. Also, her car being parked outside indicates she had plans to stay in or return soon, which contradicts the scent trail ending at the river. Maybe there's more to the movements near the bridge than we know? Anyone with ties to that area able to share any local insights?
