Has anyone else been thinking about the eerie circumstances surrounding Margo Ascencio's tragic death? It's baffling to think how she ended up at the El Don Motel that night. I've read some speculation about what might have drawn her there – was she meeting someone, or was the motel simply a random choice? It’s so troubling to imagine a young woman, just 22, full of potential, meeting such a violent end and to know her family never got the answers they deserved. I know it was the '70s, and things were different, but wouldn't there have been a paper trail or some indication of her plans that night? Maybe someone has memories from that time that could shed light on the situation. They say every bit of information counts, no matter how small... Eugene police have been doing incredible work with cold cases using updated forensic science, which gives me hope for Margo and her family. Her case wasn’t just another number, and I truly believe someone, somewhere knows something. Let’s keep her story alive and help bring justice if we can!
