Hey everyone, I've been diving into some old cold cases, and I came across the tragic story of Dennis Scott Cole. It’s unsettling to think about how many unsolved cases there are from that era. One aspect I find compelling is the role that advancements in forensic technology might play in eventually cracking these cases. Back in 1977, the forensic tools available were pretty rudimentary compared to what we have now. It makes me wonder how much evidence collected back then could be re-examined with today’s techniques. Maybe something will come up that wasn’t detectable at that time? It’s a long shot, but sometimes just a little piece of new information can open up a whole new direction for the investigation. Hopefully, as technology progresses, more cold cases like Dennis's can finally be solved, bringing some peace to his family and friends. Does anyone know if there's been any recent development or interest from cold case units in reanalyzing these cases with newer tech? It's just so important to keep these cases in the public eye. ?
