Hey everyone, I've been following the James Kesch case for a while, and something that's always puzzled me is the lack of motive for the robbery. It's so strange that nothing was taken, even though it was clearly an attempted robbery. I've been thinking about whether things went wrong for the perpetrator. Maybe something unexpected happened that caused them to panic and flee without the cash, like they met resistance from James or someone else showed up? It's just so senseless. It's incredibly tragic that James was working hard at such a young age and had his life cut short. I can't imagine the pain his family must still feel decades later without any answers. I really hope that speaking about it here encourages someone who might know even a small detail to come forward. Every little bit could help bring some closure to his loved ones. Does anyone else have thoughts on why the robber might have left empty-handed?

Did anyone else notice the strange detail about the struggle at the crime scene? It's perplexing to me that despite apparent signs of a fight, no money was taken. It just doesn’t add up for a robbery motive, especially when James was shot. It seems possible that whoever did this might have panicked or had other reasons we’re not seeing. My heart goes out to James’ family and friends who must be haunted by these unanswered questions. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether this might have been personal or if something else was going on at the station that night?
