Has anyone looked into the background of the individuals Tracy McCalip was associated with? It sounds like she might have been in a really vulnerable situation before her death. The fact that she was last seen in a fairly busy area like NE 20th and Sandy Boulevard makes me wonder if anyone else might have seen something that night. It’s really disturbing to think that someone might still be out there, and this case hasn’t been resolved for so long. Hoping that with increased attention on cold cases and the reward on offer, someone with important information will come forward. Tracy deserves justice and her family deserves closure after all these years.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Tracy McCalip's case lately, especially given how it's been nearly four decades with no closure for her loved ones. One detail that really stood out to me is the reputation of the place where her body was found. "Lovers Lane" is often depicted in media as secluded and romantic, but it's also a place that can easily become a site for tragic events due to its isolation. It makes me wonder if anyone else who frequented that area back then might have seen or heard something unusual, even if they didn't realize it at the time. Also, the fact that Tracy was last seen on NE 20th and Sandy Boulevard got me curious about the area back in the '80s. What was it like? Were there any nearby businesses or hangouts that might have had people around who could have noticed something? Community knowledge can be a powerful tool in these cases. If there's even a small chance someone might remember something, it's worth revisiting. Thinking of Tracy and her family, it's so important we keep her story alive and continue sharing this case. The Portland Police Bureau’s Cold Case Unit is doing crucial work, and any tip, no matter how small, could finally point them in the right direction. Thanks for reading, and let's hope Tracy's case finds some answers soon.

I recently came across Tracy McCalip's case from 1985, and one thing that really caught my attention was the location where she was found. The field near NE 47th Avenue and Elrod Road had a reputation for being a "Lovers Lane," which makes me wonder if someone knew the area well and chose it deliberately because of its seclusion. Perhaps it was someone local or someone familiar with that part of Portland. The fact that it was a place visited by many suggests there might have been witnesses or regular visitors who could recall suspicious activities or vehicles in the days around her disappearance. It's upsetting to think about the fear she might have felt, and I truly hope that someone, somewhere, might remember something that could bring peace to her loved ones. It's been so many years, but maybe time will allow someone to come forward with the truth.
