Hey everyone, I just stumbled upon this old case and can't stop thinking about Eddie Lathan's tragic story. One thing that's been bothering me is the location where his body was found. Wilshire Park seems like a pretty open space, and I wonder if someone passing by might have seen or heard something that could help. It seems like such a public area for someone to dump a body and not get noticed. It makes me question if the person responsible knew the area well enough to know the comings and goings of people there at night. I can't imagine the pain his family must have felt all these years without answers. It's tough knowing there's still so much we don't know. If there's anyone out there who remembers something or has insights into the neighborhood dynamics back in the '80s, it might just lead to the breakthrough this case needs. Anyone else have thoughts on why Wilshire Park might have been chosen?

I've always been curious about the location where Eddie Lathan's body was found. Wilshire Park isn't exactly secluded, even back in '86, so it seems odd that someone would choose to dump a body there. I wonder if the killer thought the snow would cover their tracks or if they simply panicked and picked the first spot they found. It's so incredibly sad to think about Eddie being out there in the cold and the fear he must've felt in his last moments. Does anyone think there's significance to the location, or was it just random? My thoughts are with his family, who still don't have answers after all this time.
