Hey everyone,
Has anyone else been puzzled by the lack of security footage or eyewitness accounts from the businesses around the Burnside Bridge area that night Beryl Leroy Haynes was attacked? Portland's a busy place, especially near that bridge, even in the early hours. While I know it was 1991 and technology wasn't what it is today, it seems odd that no additional evidence emerged from nearby establishments.
It must be incredibly frustrating for Beryl’s family not to have more concrete leads after all these years. Just thinking about the potential witnesses who might have been out that night at bars or restaurants nearby—we might not even know if someone saw something crucial. Here's hoping someone with information remembers something and comes forward.
Every little detail could help.
Stay safe and kind, everyone.
I came across the case of Beryl Leroy Haynes while scrolling through some unsolved crimes, and I can't stop thinking about how traumatic this must be for his family and friends, even after all these years. One detail that really caught my eye was the location of the incident—right on the Burnside Bridge. It's such a well-known spot in Portland, which makes me think there might have been more people around who saw something that night. Does anyone else find it strange that the attackers were able to just disappear, especially in such a public area? I really hope more people come forward with any details, no matter how small they think it might be. Haynes deserves justice, and his loved ones deserve closure. Let's keep this discussion going and maybe someone will remember something important.
I’ve been following Beryl Leroy Haynes' case, and it just keeps haunting me, especially when I think about how it unfolded near such a busy spot like the Burnside Bridge. Even in the early hours, that's a location that sees a fair amount of people. I wonder if anyone else might have seen something—maybe they didn't realize at the time what they were witnessing. It’s chilling to think that more witnesses could be out there without knowing their information could hold a key piece of the puzzle. I hope by revisiting old memories, someone might recall a detail that could help. Thoughts and prayers continue to be with Beryl’s family and those who knew him. It's clear they need closure as much as justice needs to be served.
