I just came across Sharon Marie Hiller’s case and couldn’t shake off the feeling of injustice. I’ve been reading about the circumstances around her disappearance and the fact that she was seen leaving the Alaska Bush Company. It got me thinking about the area back in the early ‘90s. Does anyone remember if that stretch of Highway 99 was notorious for crime or anything suspicious back then? It seems like such a busy route—someone must’ve noticed something, right? It’s unimaginable what her family has gone through all these years without answers. Hoping one day they’ll have some peace. If anyone remembers more about the local scene or has resources to look into, it could be so helpful.
