I've been diving deep into Donna Jou's case, and something that keeps nagging at me is the unsettling text messages sent to her mom after she disappeared. Her family is confident those texts didn't come from Donna herself. Can we piece together what those messages might have contained or inferred based on similar cases? I know it might be a long shot, but understanding their intent or content could offer a fresh angle or lead. It's just so bizarre and unsettling to think that someone was trying to mislead or cover up right after she vanished. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I've been thinking about Donna Jou's case and something's been bothering me for a while. Has anyone else wondered about those unsettling texts sent from Donna's phone? I mean, it's really odd that they popped up the day after she vanished. Her family thinks they weren't from her, and I completely agree. It makes me think someone else had her phone and wanted to make it look like Donna was alive and okay. Has there been any tech expert discussion in the past about whether authorities traced those texts to any cell tower locations to see where they were sent from? Could it give us more context about her last whereabouts or Burgess’s movements? There's also the possibility that someone else at the party had a hand in sending these messages. It's such a chilling aspect of the case we can't overlook. Thoughts? Maybe there are more clues hiding in plain sight with those little details.

Did anyone else find it odd how quickly John Steven Burgess confessed to Donna's accidental overdose? It just seems strange to me. From what I understand, people usually lawyer up and try to deny everything, especially if it’s something as serious as disposing a body. I'm not defending the guy at all, don't get me wrong—his actions are beyond suspicious. But does anyone else think maybe he had some sort of ulterior motive for confessing? Could there have been someone else involved that he was covering for? Or maybe he wanted to control the narrative so he’d face lesser charges? It's just weird, and it doesn’t sit right with me that someone would spill the beans like that unless they had something to hide or gain. Thoughts?
