I've been digging into Jeff Lange's case again, and I'm really puzzled by the apparent lack of motive. From everything I've read, it seems like Jeff was a well-loved guy with no enemies, and yet his life was taken so violently. It's baffling to think that someone could do something so cruel without a clear reason why. While researching, I came across a detail that's been sticking with me. Witnesses reported seeing two men running from the scene, but it seems like no descriptions or sketches were ever released to the public. I wonder if anyone out there remembers seeing something that night or if the Portland Police have more info that hasn't been shared. It's been so many years, but maybe someone has a piece of the puzzle that could finally help bring the perpetrators to justice. My thoughts are with Jeff's family and friends, who deserve answers and peace.
