I’ve been following Brandon Swanson’s case for a while now, and I’ve always been puzzled by the discrepancy in distance related to his car’s location. How could he have thought he was near Lynd when his car was found so far away near Taunton? It seems like he must have been seriously disoriented. What if something influenced his sense of direction that night, like exhaustion or the possibility of having had a drink or two earlier in the evening? I know the weather conditions were noted, but did anyone ever look into any environmental factors that could have disoriented him further? It seems to me there’s something crucial we’re all missing about why Brandon ended up where he did. Open to hearing thoughts from folks who might be more familiar with the area or have looked into similar cases!

I've always found it strange how disoriented Brandon seemed that night. His car was discovered about 25 miles away from where he thought he was, near Taunton, Minnesota. How could this happen? I mean, I get that rural roads at night can be confusing, but being that far off is pretty unusual. Could it have been exhaustion, or maybe something else affected his ability to tell where he was? Also, I wonder if there's more detail on the state of his car when it was found—like, was there anything unusual inside or outside it that might give a clue about his disorientation or what happened after? It’s these little details that keep me glued to the case, hoping one day there might be answers.

Has anyone else looked into how disoriented Brandon might have been that night? His car was ultimately found 25 miles away from where he thought he was, near Taunton instead of Lynd. It makes me wonder if there was something going on—maybe exhaustion or stress from finals could have been factors. I read somewhere that he had been at a party, but it’s interesting to note there’s no mention of alcohol or substances being involved. It's just so puzzling how someone could be so off-track without some kind of external influence. Whatever it was, it seems like it led him to lose his bearings so badly that night.
