I've been digging into the Luis Vargas Montes case and noticed something odd about where his car was found. The fact that it was parked near the Upper Barton Creek boat ramp at Falls Lake just raises so many questions for me. Why would he be there of all places? It's not exactly a busy area, which makes me wonder if he was meeting someone or if it was a convenient spot for someone else to leave his car. Also, the windows being down is strange. In August, it can get pretty hot, so it’s almost like someone wanted the car to be noticed or not overheat? I don't have any answers, but I'm curious if anyone else has thoughts on why that location might have been chosen? Or if anyone local to the area has more insight into the significance of the location?

I’ve been following Luis Vargas Montes’ case for a while, and one detail that really puzzles me is the roll of duct tape found in his car. It seems so out of place with everything else that was left behind. Was it something Montes routinely kept in his car for practical reasons, or could it be a clue pointing to foul play? I know Jumping to conclusions isn't helpful, but I can't stop thinking about it. Has there been any indication that it was linked to anything specific, or is it just one of those mystery items that remain unexplained?
