The incident that took Tameka Renee Hartley's life is baffling, and my heart genuinely aches for her family and friends. I was thinking about how it’s been nearly 20 years since her senseless murder and there seems to be little progress in finding justice for Tameka. Has anyone considered the idea that the car involved could have been stolen? I know it’s a long shot, but reporting it as stolen might complicate tracing it back to the shooter, making it even harder for detectives to establish a motive or connection. It just feels like there are pieces of the puzzle still lurking in the shadows. Perhaps someone out there knows something but hasn't realized its significance yet. I hope by keeping discussions like this alive, those vital pieces of information can come to light so her loved ones might find some semblance of closure. If anyone has old high school friends in Portland or acquaintances in NE Portland neighborhoods, it might be worth asking if they remember anything unusual from that night. You never know what might jog someone's memory. #JusticeForTameka
I've been thinking a lot about Tameka Rene Hartley's case recently. It's been so many years, yet those who loved her still deserve answers and justice. Something that's baffling to me is how the car involved seems to have just vanished. Surely, someone must have noticed a dark-colored, small to mid-sized vehicle in the area acting suspiciously that evening. Were there any traffic cameras nearby that might have caught a glimpse of the license plate? I know this was in 2005, so maybe the camera technology wasn't as widespread or sophisticated back then, but it's worth a shot. Hoping that raising these questions might spark some new discussions or help someone remember a detail. My thoughts are with Tameka's family and friends. They deserve closure, and I hope the right tip comes in soon.
