I’ve been following Robert Merle Harrod’s case for some time now, and something that really sticks out to me is the timing of it all. The fact that he had rekindled a romance with Fontelle Heeter after 60 years and had just married her is pretty significant. It makes me wonder if anyone looked into any unresolved issues from their past that could've resurfaced. Relationships can sometimes have layers that aren't immediately apparent, and with such a long history, there might have been undisclosed details. The optimism around starting a new life could have masked underlying tensions or concerns, especially with such a big life change and him being a wealthy individual. It just seems odd that he was in good spirits with so much planned for his future, only to disappear without a trace. Thoughts?
Has anyone else been following the Robert Merle Harrod case? One thing that's really puzzling to me is the fact that his keys and wallet were missing, yet no transactions have ever shown up. It's almost like he vanished into thin air. I mean, it feels like if someone wanted to take advantage financially, they would have done something by now, right? Especially given his multimillionaire status. Is it possible the keys and wallet were just taken to mislead investigators? I've seen speculation about foul play and the reward being offered suggests the family's suspicious too. It's odd that someone in supposedly good spirits and with plans for the future would suddenly disappear like this. Would love to hear what others think about this angle.
