I've been thinking a lot about the case of Roy Hill, and what strikes me is the possibility that his murderer was someone he trusted. It feels so unsettling to imagine that this war hero, who survived the battlefield only to face such violence in his own home, might have opened his door willingly. The absence of forced entry makes you wonder about the kind of person who could have gained his confidence. Was it a long-time acquaintance? A friend? Or even someone posing as a friend? I hope that advancements in forensics and technology might one day help shine a new light on this case. Roy's story deserves more than just fading away into an unsolved file. There are people out there who might hold crucial pieces of information without even realizing it. My thoughts are with Roy's family; even all these years later, knowing what happened might provide some sense of peace. If you have even the smallest detail, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Roy Hill deserves justice.

I've been following the case of Roy Hill, and something that's always puzzled me is the lack of forced entry. It makes me think his killer was someone he knew and trusted. Roy was a war veteran and lived a quiet life. It's unsettling to think someone he let into his home could have done this. Given the time period and his age, maybe it was someone who knew him through the veteran community or perhaps from his work on the railroad. I wish we had access to more details about his social life or acquaintances. It's incredibly sad to think that someone so deserving of peace in his later years met such a tragic end. I really hope that, with advancements in forensic technology, new evidence could still come to light to help solve this case and bring some sense of peace to his family. If anyone has theories or additional insights, I'd love to hear them. It’s important we keep the conversation going so Roy isn’t forgotten.

Does anyone else find it haunting that there were no signs of forced entry in Roy Hill's murder case? It makes you wonder if the person who took his life was someone he trusted or at least knew well enough to let into his home. I can't imagine the kind of betrayal and fear he must have felt in those moments. It's also so tragic to think that this happened to a World War I veteran who had already seen so much in his lifetime. Being found by concerned neighbors only underscores how connected and caring his community was. It's been over 50 years, and I really hope this case isn't forgotten. If someone out there knows anything, it's never too late to come forward. Roy and his family deserve answers and justice. Anyone with information should definitely reach out to the Tulsa Police Cold Case Unit. Every little bit could help.
