It's always baffled me why Carl Bock wouldn't cooperate, even with the offer of legal immunity. This has me seriously questioning his account of that day. Are there any details about final sightings of Carl before he supposedly picked the kids up? Timeline inconsistencies can sometimes reveal a lot about someone's movements or intentions. Also, has anyone ever done a deeper dive into theater staff statements over the years, perhaps through old media archives or any family members who might still remember? Sometimes there might be small overlooked details from interviews or reports back then that didn't seem relevant but could be crucial now. Just a thought.
Hey everyone, I've been following the Westerfield brothers' case, and something that's been bothering me is the timeline of events. Carl Bock said he dropped the boys off around 5:00 p.m. and came back at 8:00 p.m. How is it that theater employees have mixed accounts about seeing the boys? Back in 1964, theaters weren't as crowded as the multiplexes today, especially in a small town like Fayetteville. You’d think the staff would have a clearer memory of two young boys coming in, especially since it was a double feature—kids might stand out more. Is it possible that the boys never even made it inside, or could they have left on their own before the movie ended? I've also been wondering if any other patrons from that night ever came forward with statements. It just seems like there should be more clarity on whether the boys were actually there or if something happened before they ever got inside. Any thoughts on this?
Has anyone taken a look at the discrepancies in witness accounts from that night at the Broadway Theater? It's odd that some employees remember seeing Terry and Alan, while others claim they never showed up. Could this inconsistency suggest something about the timeline or even reveal someone who might have been trying to mislead the investigation? And what about any patrons who were there for the double feature—did they notice anything unusual or recall seeing the boys? If Bock did drop them off, maybe there's more to uncover from those who were present that night. It's just frustrating to think that all these years later, we're still puzzling over whether they ever made it inside the theater at all. ?
