Just came across the case of Niki Diane Britten, and I can’t stop thinking about the letter found at her grandparents' home. It's puzzling why Niki’s mother would think her mom might have written it instead. If her grandmother did write it, what was her motive? Was it just to ease her own pain, or did she genuinely believe that would help the situation? And if it wasn't her, why did she think Niki actually sent it? I wonder if the handwriting was ever analyzed. It's sad how something as simple as a letter, which should've been a reassuring sign, ended up causing more doubt and uncertainty. These little mysteries within a case can sometimes hold the key—or maybe they just show us how desperate and lost people feel when they have no answers. Thoughts?
