Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Peggy Rahn and Wendy Stevenson case from '69, and something that's been on my mind is the car that the suspect was driving. It was a blue Chevrolet, but has anyone come across any more detailed descriptions or records of the vehicle? Given the time that’s passed, I know it’s tough, but every small detail could help paint a clearer picture of who this guy was. Maybe someone out there remembers seeing a similar car around that time or knows about anyone in the Pompano Beach area who drove something like that back then. It’s so frustrating that such a distinct piece of info didn’t lead to more. Appreciate any insights or old stories you all might have come across!

I was just reading about Peggy and Wendy’s case, and it struck me how chilling it is that a convicted killer like Gerard Schaefer would go so far as to claim responsibility, yet there’s no evidence to hold him accountable. It makes me wonder if he was just boasting or trying to add to his grim ‘legacy’ from behind bars. It’s unnerving to think about what kind of person would use a family’s pain in such a way. Does anyone else think he might have just been trying to stir the pot, or is there a chance he actually knew more than he ever let on? It's baffling how these claims can't seem to be substantiated or entirely dismissed.
