I was revisiting Cindy Lee Mellin's case and something really piqued my interest. Has anyone looked into the tire puncture angle? I mean, it seems pretty clear it was deliberate, right? Who was this guy helping her, and could he have been part of a pattern? I read there were similar incidents reported around the same time. What if he targeted lone women with the same MO? It just feels like there's something more there – a calculated strategy to lure her by creating a situation where she’d need assistance. Maybe someone local might remember hearing about other attempts or encounters, even if they didn’t make it into police reports? Just wondering if there’s more to explore under this angle. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I've been digging into Cindy Lee Mellin's case and something that's puzzling me is the detail about the spare tire. We know Cindy's car was found with the flat still on it, and the spare just sitting nearby. Wouldn't it be a bit unusual for someone to not finish changing the tire if they were actually helping her? The fact that the tire was purposely punctured just makes it all the more chilling. It's almost like whatever happened was planned from the start. Anyone have thoughts on why the tire was left that way, or who this mysterious man might've been? It feels like there was some kind of setup involved. Could there have been any similar MO from other missed cases in the area during that time? Any theories are welcome!
