Has anyone else looked into the sled Richard was carrying when he vanished? I find it curious that such a distinctive blue toboggan-style sled was never found. You'd think something like that would have turned up during the searches, right? Given that he wasn't far from home and went missing in the winter, it seems likely that it would have been spotted by someone, if not immediately, then sometime after. It’s always seemed like an overlooked detail to me. Could it have been taken with him by whoever was responsible? Or perhaps it was hidden somewhere intentionally? If so, where? It’s a haunting detail that the sled disappeared with him, and I wonder if it could have offered clues to his whereabouts. Anyone have additional info or thoughts on what kind of searches or follow-ups might have been done on this?
Has anyone else looked into the timeline discrepancies regarding William "Freight Train" Guatney as a suspect in the Richard William Griener case? I find it odd that although he confessed to killing children in the area, his victims were usually abducted in warmer months. Richard disappeared in January, which feels inconsistent with Guatney's usual pattern. Could this suggest there might be another suspect altogether, or maybe a partner in crime that we haven't heard about? It bothers me that there seems to be a disconnect, and unfortunately, Guatney can no longer provide answers. Anyone have more insight on any other suspects that might have been in the area at the time?
