Has anyone else looked into the list of possible suspects for Candyce Woodward’s case, particularly any known offenders in the area at the time? It breaks my heart thinking about how her family must feel, still without answers after all these years. It’s especially puzzling why someone would do such a thing with a child in the house. I remember seeing somewhere that there were a series of break-ins around Tulsa during that period - could it be connected somehow? If law enforcement hasn't ruled anyone out, it makes me wonder if there's someone who's staying just under the radar. Any amateur sleuths here think it might be worth taking another look at those lists? The community deserves closure, and I hope we can help, even in some small way, to bring justice for Candyce and her loved ones.
It's been over 30 years, yet Candyce Woodward's story still haunts a lot of us. What's troubling is how this happened in broad daylight, and nobody saw or heard anything suspicious. Crime scene evidence is usually so telling, and I can't help but wonder if there's something that was overlooked or maybe someone who hasn't come forward yet with crucial information. It’s nerve-wracking to think that a man could just knock on someone's door and commit such violence without leaving a trace. The fact that the child Candyce was babysitting wasn't harmed could suggest all sorts of motives. My heart goes out to Candyce’s family and everyone affected by this tragic loss—I hope they can find some peace and resolution soon. Does anyone know if new forensic technology might help reexamine the evidence?
