I've been doing some digging into Marilyn Joi Base's case, and something keeps bothering me about the location where her body was found. Braggs Mountain isn't exactly close to where she lived or where she disappeared from. It's quite a drive from Tulsa. Does anyone else find it odd that this seemingly random location was chosen by her killer? It makes me wonder if the person was familiar with the area or if there’s something specific about that spot. I can’t imagine what her family has been through all these decades, not knowing who did this. It's incredibly frustrating that there were no witnesses or someone who might have seen something suspicious that night. If anyone has any thoughts or info about that highway or that area back in the late '80s, it could be helpful. Maybe even the smallest detail could shed some light and help bring some closure to her loved ones.
