Hey all,
I came across something that’s been weighing on my mind about the tragic events at Woodcreek Apartments back in ‘89. It’s been over three decades, and yet the thought of Kasey and her mom, Carol, still sends chills down my spine. Imagine being so young, and having your life stolen away like that. ?
What really gets me is the mix of emotions Carol must have felt, trying to protect her baby. Makes me wonder about the people around them. Did anyone see something? Did they notice anything unusual that day? If this was a planned attack, surely someone must have seen or heard something out of the ordinary in the complex.
I genuinely hope someone with vital information comes forward. The thought of whoever did this potentially walking among us is unsettling. They both deserve justice, and honestly, their families deserve peace.
If anyone remembers anything, please let the authorities know. Kasey and Carol deserve so much more than being another unsolved number.

I've been reading through the details of Kasey and Carol's case, and something that's been sticking with me is the choice of the Woodcreek Apartment as the crime scene. Does anyone know if they had any history of problems there or with neighbors? It just seems chilling to think about someone setting a fire in a place where they would have known people were living, especially since it wasn’t just an attempt to cover up a murder, but something much more sinister knowing Kasey was inside. The fact that this crime has gone unsolved for so long is hard to fathom. I can't help but wonder about the kind of person who could commit such a brutal act and then live with the knowledge of what they’d done.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the case of Kasey Wald and Carol Sue Pittman from back in 1989. I wanted to focus on something that doesn’t get mentioned often. The location—Woodcreek Apartment complex—was pretty busy back in the day, and I'm wondering how someone could commit such a horrible act and not be seen by anyone. Could it be possible there were witnesses who were scared to come forward at the time? Or maybe someone moved away and didn’t realize what they saw was part of a crime?
Also, I wonder about any known individuals who lived in the complex at the time. Did investigators thoroughly vet acquaintances or neighbors? Sometimes people slip through the cracks, especially if there's a lot of chaos, like during a fire. I truly hope someone out there remembers something small that could trigger a lead.
My heart goes out to the families. This must be such a heavy burden for them all these years, knowing justice hasn’t been served. Keeping my fingers crossed that the right tip surfaces to help them find peace. ?
