Has anyone else wondered about the man spotted with the blue Ford sedan on the day Sharon disappeared? I find it strange that despite the description given by a witness, the man was never identified. It was a pretty solid lead in my opinion. A 1965 Ford sedan isn't exactly an inconspicuous vehicle. Surely, someone must have known whom it belonged to or recognized the description. Were there other sightings of this car around the time of Sharon's disappearance? It's been so long, but there might still be folks in Dayton who remember something about that car or that man. Maybe re-interviewing people in the neighborhood where she was last seen could bring some overlooked details to light. Such a baffling case. Thoughts?
I was reading through Sharon Lynn Pretorius' case, and something that keeps bothering me is the timing of when she was last seen. Does anyone else find it curious that her brother saw her leaving with the collection book, and yet not a single customer reported seeing her that day? This was the same neighborhood she’d been delivering papers in for a while, right? It just seems odd to me that no one noticed her given her routine. Maybe someone she knew or who knew her route and schedule had been watching? I wonder if the community at that time looked into anyone who might have had an odd interest in the newspaper routes. Just seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle to explore further. Thoughts?
