I've been following Vicke Lee Lamberton's case for a while, and one thing that keeps coming up in my mind is the delay in reporting her missing. I find it puzzling that it took until 2010 for the case to be formally opened. How did this go unnoticed for 36 years? It's chilling to me that a person can just vanish without a trace, and it seems like there was no urgency to investigate back then. I wonder if there were any initial assumptions made by those closest to her that might have caused this delay. Maybe people thought she just wanted to start over somewhere? It seems like back in the '70s, there was less awareness about the need to report someone missing immediately, especially if they were an adult. Moreover, her family’s efforts, despite the long delay, show how desperately they want some closure. Anyone else familiar with cases where there was such a huge gap in time before a missing person report was filed? It bothers me to think how many more stories might be out there like hers.

Has anyone looked into Dr. Roger Barker's movements in those crucial months after Vicke vanished? I can't shake the feeling that the timing of his trip to Colorado right when she went missing is way too coincidental. With Vicke leaving her stuff in his garage and all those rumors, it's hard to ignore the possibility of some kind of involvement. I wonder if investigators tried tracking his expenses or movements back then, even though it was so long ago. It's such a tangled web with so many possibilities, but something about Barker just sticks out to me. What do you all think?

Hey sleuthers, I recently stumbled across the perplexing case of Vicke Lee Lamberton and something caught my eye. The fact that her belongings were stored in Dr. Roger Barker's garage is an intriguing detail. I mean, think about it – why would she trust him with her things if there wasn’t something more to their relationship? And what’s with the timing of Barker’s trip to Colorado? It’s all so suspicious. I've been digging around, but hasn't anyone else found it odd how quickly Barker distanced himself from Vicke after she vanished? The lack of a missing person report until 2010 baffles me, but I feel like the answer might lie in that garage and what was left behind. If anyone's dug up more info or has theories about what could have happened, particularly around the belongings she left behind, I’d love to hear them!
