Has anyone else come across the recent update on Terry Schmidt's case? It's been so long since that tragic night in Tulsa, but I've heard that authorities are still actively seeking new leads. I can't even imagine the pain Terry's family and friends have gone through all these years without closure.
Something that's been bothering me: does anyone know if there's any more info on the suspects' descriptions? I read somewhere that they were young men in their 20s, but I'm curious if there’s been any more detail shared since the original reports. It seems like someone out there must know something more, even after all this time.
The fact that the suspect vehicle was found abandoned makes me wonder about the trail the investigators were able to follow back then. Did they find anything else in the car besides the gun? I'm really hoping that with advancements in forensic technology, there's new evidence waiting to be uncovered. My thoughts are with Terry's family as they wait for answers. It must be incredibly difficult to live with such uncertainty.
I was reading up on Terry Schmidt’s case, and I find myself especially troubled by the fact that the firearm was actually recovered. I mean, you’d think that having such a crucial piece of evidence could have led to more substantial leads over the years. It's hard to imagine what Terry’s family has gone through knowing that such a key piece of evidence hasn’t brought them closure. I really hope that advances in forensic technology or someone coming forward with new information can finally provide answers. I know it’s been decades, but cases have been cracked after that long before. Keeping the family in my thoughts and hoping they find the peace they deserve. If anyone has insights, even after all this time, please reach out to the authorities.
Has anyone been following the Terry Schmidt case from 1990? I was just reading about it, and I can't get over how brazen the suspects were. It's so chilling to think about Terry noticing that suspicious light blue car circling the lot and then the encounter escalating into such a violent act. I can't even imagine how his friends must feel, witnessing this horrible event unfold.
What's even more puzzling is how the car and the firearm were both found, yet no arrests were made. It seems like such a significant lead was left without a resolution. I’m really curious about what evidence was gathered back then and whether modern technology might help bring new insights. It must be incredibly difficult for Terry's family to know that this case is still unsolved. I truly hope the attention from the Cold Case Unit will eventually lead to some breakthroughs.
If anyone has any more recent news or thoughts on this, I'd love to hear them. Here's hoping for justice for Terry and his loved ones.
