Hey everyone,
Just wanted to bring up something that's been on my mind about Ramadan Smith's case. I was thinking about the location where he was found—in the bike lane on Post Street. It seems like such a vulnerable position to be in at that hour. I keep wondering if he was specifically targeted there or if it was just terribly unfortunate timing. Anyone familiar with the area know if there were any surveillance cameras nearby back in 2007 or if it's a spot commonly trafficked at night? Hoping the police or even nearby businesses might have had any footage or clues that could help. My heart goes out to Ramadan's family and friends. No one should have to wait so long for justice. ??
Feel free to share any thoughts or insights. Thanks for reading.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the tragic case of Ramadan Smith's murder back in October 2007, and it's been haunting me. What really struck me was that his shooting was one of three on that same horrific day in San Francisco. It’s so gut-wrenching to think about how a city can be rattled by such violence in just 24 hours.
I’m really curious—does anyone know if there were any connections ever found between the three shootings? It seemed so strange to me that these incidents were so close in time. It must have been absolutely terrifying for everyone in the city, especially for the families left behind. I'm hoping someone here might have more insights or updates, as it's so important to remember not only Ramadan but also Reynaldo Cruz Hernandez and the unidentified man who also lost their lives that day.
Thanks for keeping the conversation going and supporting the families still searching for justice.
Stay safe out there.
Has anyone else been thinking about the location where Ramadan Smith was found? It's so unsettling to imagine how anyone could be so cruel in a place that so many people pass by every day. I’ve biked down that street countless times, and the idea that this kind of violence can happen there makes me reluctant to go back. It’s easy to forget how vulnerable we all are until something like this shakes us up. My thoughts are with Ramadan's family and friends – I can't even begin to imagine the pain they're going through right now. Hopefully, someone comes forward soon with information that can help bring some closure to his loved ones.
