I've been reading up on Monty Linnear’s case, and it’s just so frustrating to see how such a young life was taken so abruptly, and here we are so many years later without any closure for his family. I find it really unsettling that despite the initial arrests, nothing stuck. It’s like he’s been forgotten by the system. What gets me is the repeated pattern of dropped charges. It makes me wonder about the evidence — or lack thereof — and if there’s something crucial missing or overlooked. Knowing how tense the early '90s were with drive-by shootings, it's a shame that Monty's case is still cold. I can’t even begin to imagine how his family feels, still waiting for justice all these years later. Maybe there’s someone out there holding onto that one piece of information that could finally crack this open for the better. Has anyone from the Tulsa area seen any renewed efforts or public pushes from the local authorities? Even after all this time, I hope that someone finds the courage to come forward. Monty deserves to have his story truly told, and his family deserves peace.
