I've always found it so eerie that there were no credible sightings of Teresa or Cynthia after they left the movie theater. I've seen other missing person cases where at least some false leads pop up, but it's like they vanished into thin air. Did anyone else read that the girls had planned to hitchhike to a party? It's super concerning considering how dangerous hitchhiking can be, especially for two young girls back in the 70s. I keep wondering if anyone who was driving in the area that night remembered seeing them on the side of the road. Has anyone come across details about who might have hosted the party they were supposed to attend or if anyone else was invited? Maybe someone there knows more than they realized.
