I recently stumbled upon Cynthia and Teresa's case while researching missing person cases from Florida, and something that's been bugging me is the lost case file. I mean, how can something that significant just disappear in a fire? It's 1974, so I'm guessing digital backups weren't really a thing, but it's frustrating to think about all the details that might have been lost. Has anyone come across cases where investigators managed to recover or recreate crucial info from other sources, like witness testimonies or police notes? It just feels like such a setback in an already puzzling situation... anything to keep the investigation going would be invaluable.
