Has anyone looked into the possibility that Lisa Renee Wilson might have known the person they supposedly left the mall with? I was thinking about the kind of tight-knit community back in the '70s, especially around the holiday season. It's plausible that someone familiar, maybe even a casual acquaintance, could have approached them. This might explain why they left willingly.
From what I've gathered, Lisa was pretty excited about attending a Christmas party that evening with her boyfriend, so it doesn't make sense that she'd willingly skip out without a good reason. And we can't ignore the unverified witness accounts of them being forced into a vehicle, which makes it sound like they were forcibly taken.
I'd love to hear if anyone else has theories about who they could have trusted enough to leave with. Local stories or maybe someone who knew the area and had no ill intentions—at least at first? Just trying to piece more things together.
Does anyone else find it odd that Lisa was so excited about attending a Christmas party with her boyfriend later that day? It seems totally out of character for her to just disappear on her own, especially when she was planning on seeing him that same evening. Even though the initial thought was that the trio might have run away, the fact that Lisa had firm plans that night makes me doubt that story even more.
I’ve been thinking about the possibility that they willingly left the mall with someone they trusted—maybe someone from their social circle who they didn’t see as a threat. Could it have been a familiar face who convinced them to go somewhere spur-of-the-moment? The key might really lie in figuring out who they were possibly meeting. I feel like someone in their community might know more but has stayed silent all these years. Do any of you think there might still be untapped avenues related to people they knew?
