Lisa Renee Wilson, age 14, was last seen on December 23, 1974, when she went Christmas shopping at the Seminary South Shopping Center in Fort Worth, Texas, along with her friends, Mary Rachel Trlica and Julie Ann Moseley. The three girls, collectively known as the "Fort Worth Missing Trio," were planning to shop for the holidays and be back home by the afternoon.
Lisa, who was excited about attending a Christmas party with her boyfriend that evening, had no intentions of staying out late.
The trio visited several stores, but at some point during their trip, they vanished without a trace. Later that evening, their vehicle was found in the mall's parking lot with all of their shopping items inside. Several witnesses reported seeing the girls at different points in the mall and possibly being forced into a vehicle, but these accounts remain unverified. Authorities initially believed they had run away, but their families were adamant that this was not the case.
In the following years, the investigation encountered many challenges, including inconclusive leads and even a mysterious letter received by one of the girls' families claiming the trio had gone to Houston. Despite multiple searches, private investigations, and public appeals for information, the case remains unsolved. It is believed that the girls may have left the mall with someone they trusted and subsequently met with foul play.
