Hey everyone,

I came across the case of Mario "Tino" Valentino Brooks recently, and it's been weighing heavily on my mind. What struck me is the fact that the incident happened on Mother's Day, which should be a day of celebration and family togetherness. I can't even begin to imagine the pain Tino's family went through losing him on such a significant day.

From what I've read, Tino was a bright light, someone who spread joy and had a knack for making those around him laugh. It's incredibly frustrating to hear that despite some initial leads and even a new tip in 2019, there's still no justice for him.

Has anyone else been following any developments on the 2019 tip or any community efforts to push this cold case forward? It's heartbreaking to think that his family has had to wait this long for answers, and I'm sure any bit of awareness helps.

Let's not forget Tino and his family, and let's hope that one day justice will be served. If anyone has any insights or knows of any recent movements in the case, please share.
I’ve been thinking about the role courage plays in cases like Tino’s. It's incredibly frustrating to see how witness silence can stall a case like this for years. I can't blame people for being scared, though. Witnessing something as tragic as what happened at the Family Barbecue Social Club is probably terrifying, especially with the potential threat from perpetrators still out there. But at the same time, I feel like someone holding onto crucial details could help bring justice for Tino’s family and closure for a community that lost someone so cherished.
If you know anything or have been carrying some information, even if it seems small, I urge you to consider how much it could mean to Tino’s loved ones. Every piece of information can make a difference. It’s been so many years, but there’s still a chance for the truth to prevail. Let's help Tino's family get the justice they deserve. If anyone reading this is feeling conflicted about coming forward, remember there are anonymous ways to provide tips.
