Has anyone else been following the case of Herbert Neal Davis from 1994? I'm curious about the situation surrounding the homeowner who fired the weapon when the break-in occurred. I can't even begin to imagine the fear they must have felt, defending their home with several people inside. In such intense situations, do we know if there was any investigation regarding whether their firearm was legally owned and if they had any prior training in handling such emergencies? It seems like a crucial aspect that might help clarify the series of events that tragic night. My heart goes out to all affected by this incident, and I really hope the truth comes to light soon.
I've been following the case of Herbert Neal Davis, and it's truly a sad situation all around. It’s such a tragedy that a choice made in the heat of the moment led to the loss of life.
