I've always been puzzled by the fact that the Opel was found abandoned with all their errands seemingly completed. Groceries, laundry, and a repaired TV—it's almost as if Mary planned to come back. What's strange to me is how none of the places they intended to visit reported seeing them. It's hard to imagine they could complete all their errands without being seen or remembered. Can anyone shed light on how often stuff like this happens in other cases? It just seems so eerie that they vanished without a single trace at one of these businesses. Maybe someone who worked there all those years ago might hold a clue without even realizing it.
