I stumbled upon Richard Liggins Jr.'s case while reading about unsolved cases in Tulsa, and I can't stop thinking about how a young life was cut short in such a senseless way. I know the neighborhood has changed over the years, but does anyone remember anything unusual from that time or know people who lived around East 51st Street North back in 2006? I feel like even the smallest detail could jog someone's memory.
Richard's family deserves peace and justice, and it's disheartening how many questions still remain. If anyone has information, even if it seems insignificant, please consider reaching out to the Tulsa Police Department Cold Case Unit. Hopefully, someone remembers something that can bring new light to the investigation and help bring the person responsible to justice.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been reading through the threads about Richard Liggins Jr.'s tragic case, and I'm struck by the community's determination to find justice for him. One aspect that really intrigues me is the location where it happened – the 1500 block of East 51st Street North. It seems to be such a pivotal detail, and I can’t help but wonder about the neighborhood itself back in 2006. Does anyone know if there were any other notable incidents in that area around the same time? Was it considered a high-crime area back then, or was this shooting truly out of the norm?
I’m hoping that understanding the context of the neighborhood might shed some light on potential motives or perhaps help us think of who might have been in the area that night. If anyone has memories or information about the neighborhood dynamics back then, sharing even the smallest detail could be helpful. Richard’s family and friends deserve answers, and I’m sure the community would welcome anything that could bring us a step closer to solving this cold case.
Thanks for keeping the discussion going. Let's continue to support each other in seeking the truth.
