Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into Martin Crumblish's case from Dobbs Ferry, and something that's been on my mind is the role of "The View." It seems like such a mysterious location at the center of this story, doesn't it? I know it was a popular hangout spot back then, especially for teens. I've seen discussions about the clearing being near the Hudson River, which could make it both a scenic and potentially risky place. But for those familiar with Dobbs Ferry or who grew up nearby in that era, what else do we know about its significance? Was it known for anything beyond being a party spot? Any rumors or local lore associated with it? Just trying to piece together what might have been going through Martin's mind that night.

Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions on May 3, 1981, the night Martin Crumblish went missing? I've been thinking about how environmental factors might have played a role, especially since he was heading to a friend's house on foot. It was late, and with "The View" being near the Hudson River, I wonder if the possibility of bad weather or poor visibility could have been a factor. Maybe it made it difficult for anyone else to see or hear if something happened. I hope someone with more knowledge of the area back then might be able to shed some light on whether the weather could have influenced the situation in any way.
