Hi everyone, I recently stumbled upon the disappearance of Mark Steven Martin and his mother Carolyn from back in '81, and something about Carolyn stopping by her mother’s house just before they vanished is nagging at me. It seems like she made a point to let her family know about the change in their travel plans. Was she possibly worried about something, or maybe wanted to leave a trail in case something happened? Has anyone looked into whether Carolyn mentioned any fears or had any hesitation about moving to Texas in the days leading up to their disappearance? I can't help but wonder if there was something more behind their plans suddenly changing. Also, changing her minds shortly after leaving Detroit seems off. Any thoughts? This case is such a puzzler. I hope someday we get answers. Thanks for reading.
