I find it odd that even after all these years, there's still so much uncertainty about how the Garcia family's car ended up in the gorge. I mean, a snowplow pushing it seems improbable to me. Wouldn't there have been some evidence on the road or damage to the snowplow itself? Plus, if it were hidden deliberately, you'd think someone would come forward or some trace would have been left behind. It just feels like there’s more to this story that hasn’t been uncovered. Does anyone else get the feeling that maybe someone else was involved that hasn’t come to light yet? It’s frustrating how they just vanished without a trace. I'm hoping someone out there might have a piece of the puzzle that could finally bring some answers.

Hey everyone, I recently came across the mysterious case of Diego Garcia and his family who disappeared back in 1982. Something that's been gnawing at me is the timing of their disappearance and the possible connection with that snowstorm in the San Gabriel Mountains. I've read that their car was found buried in snow, and I'm wondering if the storm could have played a role in obscuring any potential clues around their car. Could weather conditions have delayed the discovery of their vehicle and any possible tracks or evidence that might have led to more information? Snow can really mess up a scene and erase crucial details. It makes me wonder if there were any storms reported that could have contributed to their car being hidden for so long. I haven't dug into weather archives yet, but it's something to consider. If anyone has insight into the local weather around that time or knows if a snowstorm hit around March or April of ‘82, it might shed some light or generate new leads for this case. Thoughts? ~ Kelsey
