Has anyone considered the significance of the fact that Flash, the family dog, reappeared five days after Kevin's disappearance? I find it intriguing that the dog came back unharmed, yet no sign of Kevin was ever discovered. Dogs have an incredible sense of smell and terrain navigation. It makes me wonder if Flash stayed in the area, suggesting Kevin might have been nearby initially but perhaps moved or taken elsewhere after the dog returned. Could Flash's movements in those days offer any potential clues? It puzzles me that despite the dog's return, they weren't able to find anything associated with Kevin. Maybe revisiting Flash’s behavior and movements during that time could offer some overlooked insights?

I came across the case of Kevin Jay Ayotte recently, and something really stuck with me—his puppy, Flash, returning after being missing for five days. It makes me wonder: where could Flash have been during that time? Dogs are pretty resourceful, but for a young pup to disappear and then reappear is intriguing. Could Flash have tried to follow Kevin and only found his way back afterward? I know some up north hunting dogs have a strong scent ability; did Flash encounter something or someone that led him away from Kevin, or kept him away from searching efforts? It's possible he could've been signaling something when he came back. I can't help but hope that someone might have seen Flash during those missing days and that it could be a vital piece of the puzzle we still need. Has anyone looked into this angle before?
