On the afternoon of September 30, 1982, in the rural area of Sugarbush, Minnesota, three-year-old Kevin Jay Ayotte vanished from his family's summer home. A male toddler with blond hair and blue eyes, Kevin was playing upstairs with his older brother when his mother briefly stepped outside. When she returned, Kevin was gone.
