This case is really puzzling due to the sheer number of people who were around when Vinyette disappeared. How is it possible that no one saw anything with about 50 people present in that hallway? It makes me wonder about the dynamics in the building at the time. Could it be that people were reluctant to speak out, or is it possible that someone intentionally looked the other way? Sometimes we assume everyone is keeping an eye out in a public space, but maybe it's that assumption that made it easier for her to vanish without a trace. If anyone was in the Robert Taylor Homes or nearby in 1983 and remembers something, even a small detail, it could be the clue investigators need to finally bring some resolution.
It's baffling to me that no one saw or heard anything when Vinyette went missing, especially with around 50 people nearby. Was it really that chaotic in the hallway, or did someone manage to pull off an abduction right under everyone's noses? It makes me wonder about the layout of that floor or if there were any blind spots. Could it have been someone familiar with the building who knew how to blend in or disappear quickly? It's just so perplexing that with all those people around, not a single person noticed anything unusual. Anyone local or from that era know what the environment in the Robert Taylor Homes was like? Did anything stand out at the time?
Does anyone else find it perplexing how Vinyette Teague went missing with so many people around? I've been thinking about the logistics of her disappearance. It seems almost impossible for someone to have taken a child with 50 people present and no one noticed anything unusual. Could it be possible that whoever took her was familiar with the area or somehow blended in with the other people present? This case has been unsolved for so long, and it just boggles my mind that there are no leads. Thoughts or theories on how this could have happened practically unnoticed?
