It's been haunting me how Maurice Jefferson's case involves that sighting at Franklin Park. Why hasn't much more been done to follow up on those witness reports? Witnesses claimed he was forced into an Oldsmobile, yet there seems to be little info on those two men allegedly involved. It's baffling that with such a lead, the case went cold. Especially back in the '80s, was it just too challenging for authorities to track down similar cars or verify those claims? With the age progression images out there, it's a wonder if something can still be pieced together about those individuals or that vehicle. Anyone else have thoughts on why this lead couldn't be pursued further?
