It’s so strange how Eubah Thornton's car was found nearly 25 miles from her home, stuck in the mud. I can't help but wonder why she ended up so far away in the first place. Considering she was dealing with memory loss, it's possible she just kept driving, not realizing how far she'd gone. But why stop in that specific remote pasture? Did something there catch her attention, or did the car simply get stuck, forcing her to stop? It makes me think that maybe someone saw her out there and offered to help or perhaps took advantage of her confused state. That area isn’t exactly one where you expect to see much traffic. Anyone familiar with that region in the 80s who might have insights on what the area was like back then?
Does anyone else find it intriguing how personal belongings sometimes turn up far from where someone disappears? In Eubah Thornton’s case, her purse and umbrella were found on an island about two miles from her abandoned car. Makes me wonder if she intentionally crossed into that area or if somehow the items were moved while the authorities searched. Was it possible she could have made it to that location on her own given her reported disorientation, or is there another explanation for how her things ended up there? It’s also strange how they found her eyeglasses but no further trace of Eubah herself. The gaps in these types of cases are so unsettling. Is there anyone familiar with that swampy region who might have some insight into how someone might navigate or get turned around in there?
