I've been thinking about the increasing crime rates in Oklahoma City around 2011, and the tragic loss of Crystal Zondor really puts things into perspective. It's devastating to know that a mother of three, who dedicated herself to helping others at the Norman Regional Hospital, was caught up in this violence. I can't imagine what her children, husband, and everyone who knew her are going through. It's shocking that such a caring person could become a victim in such a senseless crime. It makes me wonder about the state of the investigation back then—do we know if there were any leads or if the police made any progress on finding who was responsible? Sending thoughts to her loved ones during this difficult time.
