I've been thinking about the *Sea Fever* and how it might have been in the Grand Cayman Islands in December 1984. What really puzzles me is how there's no trace of it after that sighting. Boats, especially one as distinctive as a 1960 Richardson, don’t just disappear without a trace. I wonder if there might be someone, maybe an old sailor or a resident in the area back in the 80s, who might have seen something. Even decades later, memories can stir with the right prompts. It's always struck me as odd that the boat seemed to vanish so completely. Has anyone else looked into maritime logs or local dock records from that time? Could be a long shot, but who knows what might turn up.
I’ve been diving into Angela Westberry’s case, and something that really sticks out to me is the *Sea Fever* itself. A 1960 Richardson isn't exactly state-of-the-art even back in the '80s. I've always wondered about its condition at the time of the trip––did it have any known mechanical issues or maintenance gaps? Boats from that era required a lot of care, and a breakdown during a trip could have left them vulnerable. Maybe someone with more nautical know-how could chime in? There has to be someone out there who remembers seeing or hearing about this boat after it was last spotted. Has anyone stumbled upon crew lists or ship logs from the ports around that time? Any other sightings besides the one reported by U.S. Customs?
