I’ve been following Peggy Gaytan’s case for a while, and something that really stands out to me is the sheer dedication of her granddaughter in keeping her memory alive. Considering that Peggy was so involved in her upbringing, it’s heartwarming to see how her family has honored her legacy. They seem to spearhead the memorials and vigils, really bringing the community together year after year on the anniversary of her tragic death. Despite the pain, it’s clear that her family is trying to channel their grief into making sure she isn't forgotten. It makes me think about how a community can rally around loss and turn it into something powerful. I just hope community efforts raise awareness and maybe bring new information to light so that her case doesn't remain cold forever. If anyone reading this has attended one of those vigils or memorials, I’d love to hear more about them and how Peggy’s spirit is celebrated.

I’ve been following the case of Peggy Gaytan, and it’s so frustrating to see it still unresolved after all these years. It's especially difficult knowing that Peggy was just days away from celebrating Christmas with her family when her life was tragically cut short. I feel for her granddaughter, who had a wonderful grandmother raising her, and now has to carry this loss with her. I can’t help but think about the dangers faced by those who have to work late-night shifts in places like gas stations and convenience stores. Every time I hear about another incident, it brings back the fear and unease that communities deal with because of these senseless acts of violence. It’s crucial that we keep sharing information and memories of Peggy—not just for the sake of her family’s healing, but also to remind ourselves why these cases need to be solved. Here's hoping someone comes forward with information that finally brings Peggy’s family the justice they deserve. Stay safe, everyone, and keep supporting each other.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Peggy Gaytan case for a while, and I can't stop thinking about the impact this crime had on her family, especially her granddaughter. Losing a loved one is devastating enough, but right before Christmas just weighs heavy on the heart. Peggy seemed like someone who really cared for her family and her community, and the fact that she was taken away while simply doing her job is just infuriating. It blows my mind that these kinds of crimes still remain unsolved for so long. I recently thought about the role of the community in keeping her memory alive and pushing for justice. I've heard about the vigils held near the anniversary of her death, and I think it's a beautiful way to show support for her family. It also keeps the pressure on to solve her case. I wonder if there's more we can do collectively to support cases like this, even from afar. Like, increasing awareness or perhaps reaching out to organizations that help solve cold cases. If anyone has more information on how to get involved, or even just thoughts about this, I'd love to hear them. More than anything, I hope Peggy's family finds the peace and closure they deserve someday. Stay safe out there, everyone.
