I was recently reading up on the Donel Jacoby Minor case, and something stuck out to me that I don't see discussed much. Has anyone else ever wondered about the role of photographers in the area back then? I mean, back in the '80s, with how popular portrait photography was, it seems bizarre that no one remembers a guy fitting the abductor's description making the rounds or even trying something similar. There had to have been regular haunts or photo studios where this man could have picked up information on new clients. Could he have been running a scam for a while before making this desperate move? It's haunting to think this could have been a pattern that just slipped through the cracks. Maybe some staff at local studios might have remembered more if they were interviewed back then? Just curious if anyone has any thoughts or further insights on how he managed to stay so under the radar.
