Whoever that was involved in Rose's death I hope it has eaten away at them all these years. I hope they are brought to justice someday even if it is decades later.

I've been looking into Rose Marie Gayhart's case, and one detail that keeps sticking with me is the red pickup truck she was last seen getting into. I'm curious if anyone has more information about this vehicle. In a town the size of Cape Coral back in the '80s, you'd think a distinctive vehicle like a red pickup would stand out and someone might remember it. Were there any thorough searches or interviews with locals back then? It feels like such a key part of her last known whereabouts, yet there seems to be little mention of it in follow-up reports. Maybe someone out there remembers seeing that truck or knows something about cars from that era that could help identify it more specifically. It's small details like these that sometimes break cases open.
