I was reading about Kunta Jordan’s tragic murder, and it really got me thinking about the community impact. It’s so deeply unsettling to know that his case is just one piece of a much bigger puzzle of violence in Tulsa that year. I can't imagine how his loved ones feel, grappling with not just their personal loss but also the continual violence in their neighborhood. After Jordan's death, I heard there was another shooting close by, which must really make residents feel unsafe. I wonder how this affects their daily lives—just going out or coming home must be nerve-wracking. It’s terrifying to think that these incidents might be connected and yet remain unsolved. It’s frustrating sometimes, seeing these cases fade into cold files. Does anyone know what measures community leaders or the local authorities are taking to ensure safety and prevent this type of violence? I really hope they can find some justice for Kunta and that his family gets the answers they deserve.
